WHAT READERS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE MONFILS CONSPIRACY

This book really dug in depth just how bad the GBPD/DA botched the case.  When these six were convicted, I thought to myself: "Some, if not all, of them has got to know something"!!  I now believe I got it wrong.  Hopefully, some justice will eventually come of this! Thanks for writing it.

The two of you did a great job writing this book.  The contents of the book, allow the reader to "get into" the mind and day to day life of these individuals.

—Bridget 10/03

I hope some people with clout can bust this wide open. Is there anything we can do to help just let us know. We will get as many people to read it as we can… My husband and I are appalled at how the mill workers were treated.

—Bev 10/04

I was shocked to read every detail so clearly written that I almost felt I was at the plant watching the events unfold... To the authors and to Mike Pie, you did a great job on this book and I pray to God that this info gets in the hands of someone who can get these 5 men new trials.  It breaks my heart to think of them still sitting in jail after all these years.

 —Terri 10/05

My husband and I both read the book over the weekend and I must say it was very compelling… It was well laid out, great format, a real page turner! Please let me know what we can do to help. Write letters, knock on doors, anything! Thank you.

—Dianne 10/06

I have read the book you have authored. I thank you for being so detailed and truthful. We have lifted this up in prayer that the truth would come out so these men could be released and know freedom. Thank You for working toward their freedom.  May God bless you!

—Deb & Bob 10/06

Thank you… for your in depth look at the injustice in the Monfils case. I am so happy the world will finally have the opportunity to look closer at our failing justice system.

—Mike 10/08

The whole process of this dreadful case from the time the police received their initial call regarding a theft, to the day the six men were convicted of murder has been nothing short of a colossal mess. The book explains in precise detail of the twisted events and the miscarriage of justice executed by the authorities… It is the sincere hope of many that the truth will prevail, justice be served and these six innocent men can once again have their liberty.

—Paul 10/16

I have just finished reading your book. What a lot of work went into its writing. It was very thorough and very well written… It seems like it was just one bad thing piled on top of another, all with the goal of proving the police's theories to be correct. Thank you for writing this book and for all your hard work with the case. I will continue to pray for the release of the five who are still in prison.

—Judith 10/17

I just finished reading your book and I am appalled that Winkler was not held accountable for his lies and it makes me think that since he was fired...the powers that be knew he lied. I think all those who were involved in the case now know these mean are innocent… Just the fact that they were all tried together was so unfair!

—Debra 10/20

I found The Monfils Conspiracy: The Conviction of Six Innocent Men to be one of the most compelling, best written, best researched, best organized, and most convincing books I've ever read.

—Shirley 10/21

I am thankful that you have written the book exposing this injustice… Since 5 judges have acquitted Mike Pie, and since they were all tried with he same "evidence,” it would make sense that the others should also be released. I am sending a check to the Innocence Fund today.

—Gaynell 10/21

There is no way that a group of P&G employees would stick together in covering up a crime. I know that I wouldn't and having talked about that with other P&G employees I know that they wouldn't have knowingly covered up a crime...  All I can do now is provide emotional support but I do want the families to know that there are a whole bunch of us that believe that the persons found guilty are in fact innocent.

—Dennis 10/21

This book is a fantastic read. It is clearly obvious to me that they have done some meticulous research. They make many valid points to argue their case.

—Joan T 10/23

NO person in their right mind that is in the legal system, Judge, Attorney or whatever has to have doubts regarding these 5 men and the fact that the whole thing is just bad… When they make a mistake they should face up to it!! Good Luck, I will promote your book.
—John 10/24

I just finished reading "the book".  I am so grateful to you for exposing the errors that sent these men to prison unjustly.  I can't begin to imagine the agony these men and their families face on a daily basis.  I truly wish there was something I could do to help… I needed to let you know that your book was fantastic and that I believe in these men's innocence.

—Annie 10/25

I have just about finished reading the book and I just can't believe what I have read so far. What a travesty of justice… This was a very well written book and I hope it puts egg on the faces of those who put these innocent men in prison. Thank you again for writing this book.

—Candy 10/27

I just finished the book and all I can say is "What a miscarriage of justice".  I remember the case well and was shocked at the guilty verdict at that time.  After reading all the facts, I can't believe the ignorance involved in this murder case then and to this day.

—Jane 10/28

This book was well researched and well written… [It] convinces me that this case is far from being solved and may lead to this case and other cases the detective was involved with to be reviewed as Innocence Project cases.

Jeanne 11/01

I have just completed reading your book, The Monfils Conspiracy.  I must say that there is a lot of crucial detail, even a lot of things I didn't know about.  But I do believe, as when I first of this, that this endeavor is well worth it.

Toby 11/02

Page by page, my outrage builds… The authors have done an outstanding job keeping the pace moving. This book demands justice not only for the six innocent men and their families but also for Tom Monfils and his family.
